About

Rebecca Allfree is a professional violinist and violin teacher with over thirty years' experience. She has performed regularly with many of the country's leading orchestras.

She teaches children and adults, using an individualistic approach to enable each student to fulfil their potential. Her priority is to instill and nuture in all her sudents a lifelong love of music. Through music she helps students learn essential life-skills such as problem-solving, time management, perseverance and discipline. Her students achieve consistently good results in ABRSM exams, including theory of music. Former students have gone on to study at the Yehudi Menuhin School, Junior Royal Academy of Music, and some have been awarded music scholarships to their secondary schools. Rebecca also coaches string ensembles and actively encourages students to experience the joy making music together.
